Great work by Matthew Khan today, playing Rugby to fundraise for the Headway Charity.One of Matthew Khan’s playing colleagues is in Rookwood hospital having suffered a significant brain hemorrhage. Matthew has been to Rookwood with his rugby team to visit and has we have provided calennig (a gift) to thank them for their support. Headway is the charity that works to improve life after brain injury.

2018 Ride Announced
The Old Farts Cycle Club have announce their destination for 2018 fund raising ride, it will be from Cardiff to Oxford on the 8th September 2018. The details of start and finish times and venues will be posted in due course.

First Fundraiser 2018
The Old Farts new home is the New Inn Cardiff and we had our first raffle function there during the Six nations opening game, Wales v Scotland. A special thanks to the New Inn Team, the Old Farts that attended and the New Inn punters who joined in for the raffle. Of course many thanks to those who donated prizes from Rugby Tickets to bottles of wine, all are equally appreciate and all contributed to raising circa £1400 that will distributed with other funds to our selected causes.

OLD FARTS COMPLETE THE 2017 RIDE TO TORQUAY
WELL WE ARE GLAD TO ANNOUNCE THAT THE “OLD FARTS” AGAINST MANY ODDS, MADE IT, AND IN STYLE.
Much congratulations to all of the “Old Farts” riders and support team for completing this epic effort against all organisational and technical odds all got there some in one piece, some with some pieces missing and some with extra bits.
Thankfully all were safe and well and all enjoyed, at the end.
Many thanks to all that have donated in particular Parkwood Leisure amongst many others to many to mention but all are equally appreciated, we need more donations if at all possible, it alleviates the pain.
